In a media release today, Carers Tasmania, the peak body for informal carers in the state and its service delivery arm Care2Serve’s CEO, Dr Samantha Fox, announced that both organisations have together become the second organisation in Tasmania to achieve Rainbow Tick accreditation.

“We are proud to be the second organisation in the state to receive Rainbow Tick accreditation,” said Carers Tasmania and Care2Serve’s
CEO, Dr Samantha Fox.

“This accomplishment highlights our dedication to supporting the LGBTIQ+ community and carers and underscores our commitment to inclusivity.”

“We recognise that LGBTIQ+ carers often face additional difficulties when accessing support services and know how important it is to have an inclusive service that reassures them that they are welcome and understood.”
