In a media release today, Care2Serve and Carers Tasmania’s CEO, Dr Samantha Fox, announced a series of Carers Expos aimed at raising awareness and supporting unpaid family and friend carers in our community.

These expos are open to the public and will help connect Tasmania’s 80,000 carers to the Australian Government’s Carer Gateway program and other available services.

“Unpaid carers devote their time and energy to providing practical care and emotional support to a loved one, without expecting anything in return,” said Carers Tasmania and Care2Serve CEO, Dr Samantha Fox.

“To ensure that carers receive the support they deserve, Care2Serve is hosting three expos across Tasmania, where carers can connect with our staff and the Carer Gateway program to access free support and services.”
