In the lead-up to National Reconciliation Week 2025 (27 May to 3 June), Carers Tasmania reflects on this year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next. We acknowledge the past and recognise our ongoing commitment to reconciliation – now and into the future. This commitment is formalised through our First Nations Charter.
“For Carers Tasmania, a significant step in our reconciliation journey has been the development and implementation of our First Nations Charter,” said Carers Tasmania CEO Dr Samantha Fox.
Carers Tasmania formally adopted the First Nations Charter in 2024 as part of the Carers Tasmania and Care2Serve 2023–2026 Strategic Plan.

Our programs are funded by the Commonwealth Department of Social Services (DSS), the Tasmanian Government and the Home and Community Care (TAS HACC) program.
